POST
/api/v2/enqueue
Fire an event at the firehose
Requires an async integration key (ark_async_…).
The async lane: the caller is a monitor with nowhere to put an answer, so what comes back is a receipt for a durable write and never the state of an incident. Everything that decides what the event means (dedup, whether it opens an incident, who it pages) happens in a job the same transaction enqueued.
event_action is required and never defaulted: a caller that meant to resolve and mistyped the field would otherwise raise a fresh incident, which is the loudest possible way to be wrong about a payload. It is trigger, acknowledge or resolve, and payload is required on a trigger. docs/LANE_A_API.md §5.
priority (normal, high or emergency) says how loud the page is, in place of what payload.severity would ask for: normal notifies once without breaking Focus, high is time-sensitive once, emergency repeats until acknowledged. sound names the tone, one of chime, critical, high, mail, normal, ping; an unknown name plays the source's tone instead. Both are optional, both fall back to the source's Default priority and Sound, both are decided by the event that opens the incident, and the source's Loudest priority still caps the priority. docs/LANE_A_API.md §4d.
An email bridge in Google Apps Script, paging quietly with a mail tone:
``js UrlFetchApp.fetch('https://alertroster.com/api/v2/enqueue', { method: 'post', contentType: 'application/json', headers: { Authorization: 'Bearer ' + KEY }, payload: JSON.stringify({ event_action: 'trigger', dedup_key: 'email:' + thread.getId(), priority: 'normal', sound: 'mail', payload: { summary: subject, severity: 'info' } }) }); ``
